WILSON - Williams High School scored three goals in the second half to rally from a halftime deficit and defeat host Wilson Fike 4-2 in the third round of the Class 3-A girls' soccer state playoffs Wednesday night.

Michelle Akins' unassisted goal at the 65-minute mark tied the score at 2-2 for the Bulldogs. Williams rode the momentum of that goal, adding tallies from Helen Powell (73rd minute) and Jen Bass (74th minute) to complete the scoring.

Goalkeeper Tina Black had one save for the Bulldogs as Williams outshot Wilson Fike 24-3.
